European Beech Bookcases
 

Three bookcases combined to make up this large room divider. The three bookcases and the sliding door were constructed out of European Beech lumber and plywood. The bookcases measure 9 feet tall by 56 inches wide, and the sliding door measures 96 inches tall by 48 inches wide. The door is constructed with pinned mortise and tenons and features a custom recessed walnut handle. The shelves are fixed and are made from 1 inch thick stock. The whole project was stained with a custom color and finished with a clear lacquer.
